נפי
נְפֵי, נְפָא,Pa. נַפֵּי, same. Y.Sabb.VII, 10a bot. כד מְנַפְּיָיאוכ׳ when she fans (blows the chaff out, on the Sabbath), she is guilty of an act coming under the category of winnowing. Ruth R. to III, 3 (read:) אזל נַפְּיָיהּ והיאוכ׳ go and winnow it (again), and it will yield the remainder; Yalk. ib. 604 זיל נַפֵּי תיבנאוכ׳ (not כפי).
